Story Ideas:
Conference RoomThe meeting begins with Bill, the manager, bringing up critical information. It sounds really important however we hear someone adjust their chair. The squeaky noise of the chair is louder than Bill’s voice. Camera shows John, an employee, trying to hear during the noise but he can’t quite make it out (his eyes slightly squinting). Then another squeak from a different chair. Again John can’t hear important information over the squeak. So John asks for the speaker to repeat his last words.Bill tries again but someone squeaks their chair (and maybe yawns). As the scene continues forward John is asking for Bill to repeat but now Bill can’t hear John’s question because the chairs are squeaking more often. Eventually John stands up and screams, “STOP! I can’t take it anymore! If I hear another squeak out of any of you I’m going to end you! Do you hear me? END YOU!”John still standing looks to Bill and says, “Okay…now…what was the last thing you said?” Bill replies, “I said the CEO wants a low-stress office. He’s looking to fire anyone who is harsh to coworkers. If you see someone acting harsh you are to immediately report them for misconduct.”Just then John, still standing, sees the CEO walking by the outside of the conference room on his way down the hall. John looks dejected and slowly begins to sit down in his chair. As he sits down we hear a long and loud squawk from his chair. Camera shows a close up of John’s face and we see his eyes roll as he exhales in surrender.
